Dinosaurs!

Does anyone remember this show?

Jeff went out digging again this week. He's by Vernal, UT in the Dinosaur National Park with the BYU Geology department. They are at a different quarry than the one that was on TV (byuweekly.byu.edu). This one is much more sandy and harder to work with. They have to use smaller tools or the bones and dirt crumble. These bones are also much whiter and smaller than the last quarry.
The funny thing is that Jeff didn't know when the group would be heading out this week, so when he got a call from his boss on monday morning asking about where he was, there was a very frantic rush to get packed and ready for the week. It didn't help that I had to go to work and couldn't assist him in packing. When he called Monday night I found out that he had forgotten two very important things: 1. A sleeping bag. Luckily he did bring a quilt and a foam pad. 2. Extra underwear... (He will be gone five days, mind you.) He called Tuesday night and said that when he had gone down to take a shower, he had washed his underwear with hand soap. :) I'm doing laundry tonight so he will have something clean to wear when he comes home.
Ahh. What an adventure.

Kind of embarrassing, but I was totally the baby dinosaur for Halloween one year when I was little. ha I was so cool. :)

That's fun that he gets to go do that! Crazy!

P.S. Me and Mitch were just talking about how cool your photography is. You do good work!
